Heater powder is a special material with high temperature resistance, used particularly in the manufacture of heating elements. These powders consist of components that do not conduct electricity and show high resistance to heat. Commonly known as magnesium oxide (MgO), this material plays a critical role especially in the production of electric heating elements. Thanks to their non-conductive structure, these powders provide electrical insulation and perform excellently even at high temperatures. In the heater production process, after the testing stage, those that are of poor quality according to certain production standards are eliminated and only those that meet a certain quality are brought to market. These powders vary according to different temperature levels and application requirements.

MgO Heater Powder

MgO heater powder is widely used in the production of cartridge and tubular heaters. This powder is an important component for increasing the effectiveness of heating elements and ensuring that they work correctly. We stock three different grades in 25 kg bags; each performs within a specific temperature range.

High Temperature: High-Grade MgO (1100 °C)

Designed for high-temperature applications, this MgO powder is used in the production of cartridge heaters and furnace heaters that require high temperatures. Withstanding temperatures of up to 1100 °C, this powder is a critical component in the manufacture of heaters resistant to extreme temperatures. It offers reliable performance for devices and machines that will operate at high temperatures, which is why it is preferred particularly in industrial heating applications.

Middle Temperature: Medium-Grade MgO (900 °C)

Medium-grade MgO powder withstands up to 900 °C and is ideal for dry-environment heaters and liquid heaters. It is also used in the production of heating elements of different shapes, such as finned (serpentine) heaters. Powders of this type are suitable for both domestic and commercial applications and ensure efficient heat transfer and a durable structure. The 900 °C temperature range offers an option suitable for most industrial applications.

Low Temperature: Low-Grade MgO (700 °C)

Low-grade MgO powder withstands up to 700 °C and is designed especially for applications with low temperature requirements. This powder is used in heaters for heating water and low-temperature liquids. It is generally preferred in water heaters and other devices that require low temperatures. Heaters of this type use energy efficiently, deliver high performance at low temperatures and have a long service life.

The correct choice of heater powder can greatly affect performance, depending on the requirements of the application and the operating conditions. For this reason, each powder grade is designed for different temperature requirements in order to provide special heating solutions. Covering a wide range from high-temperature requirements to low-temperature applications, these products are used in many fields, from industrial production to domestic heating systems.
