General Information
A flanged heater is a complete heating assembly produced by welding several U-shaped tubular heaters onto a DIN or ANSI standard flange. It is bolted to a flange nozzle on the wall of tanks, boilers, autoclaves and process vessels; sealing is provided by a gasket.
The advantage of this product is ease of service. By removing a single flange, the entire heating assembly can be taken out of the tank; apart from draining the tank, no further work is needed for cleaning, descaling or element replacement. The elements can be designed to be replaceable individually.
A terminal box is mounted on the flange; inside it the elements are connected in star or delta, and the thermostat, over-temperature protection and sensor connections are brought together. For applications requiring an explosive atmosphere design, production is carried out with an Exproof certified terminal box and ATEX compliant element design.

Frequently Asked Questions
We need the DN size of the existing flange nozzle on the tank, the number of holes, hole diameter and pitch circle diameter (PCD). If this information is not available, you can submit a quote request with a photo and the dimensions of the flange.
Yes, directly. A scale layer interrupts heat conduction and the heater surface temperature rises rapidly. In facilities using hard water, periodic descaling or choosing a low watt density design is recommended.
